    They will fight..

I think Andre Ward is posturing, he wants certain intangibles, like this fight in Oakland....
Sergey Kovalev doesn't seem to care where he fights.... Unless there is another favored venue in mind, I think Ward might get his Oakland home field...

Think about it, Andre Ward has outgrown the Super Middleweight division.... Do you really think he can coexist in this division with Kovalev without those two mixing it up ???

(Adonis Stevenson is already old and taking easier fights, I seriously doubt he will fight either.)

It's Andre Wards division now and he has to claim it in the ring or die trying... ( Metaphorically speaking )

doesnt mean its not final at all it probably just means they have to fight by a certain date. its obvious they are going to fight not if but when ward might value himself higher then hes worth but anyone who thinks hes scared to fight krusher or wont is delusional

One of my worries was that the fight wouldn't come about. It wouldn't surprise me.

          We shall see though. Hopefully.

Speed will only matter but so much. Kovalev is usually slower than most of the fighters he fights. He's tremendously skilled tho. Best light heavy I've seen since Roy.

Did anyone say a Contract was finalized? I've heard that Fighting Kovalev is in Ward's HBO Contract but never heard anybody say Kovalev vs Ward Contract was finalized. How can you agree to money and all of that stuff before Ward even debuts at 175? WTF?

He haven't even tested himself at 175 yet, lets wait and see before screaming "DUCKING"

Of course there isn't. These guys still have more fights to go before fighting each other. How hard is that to figure out?
