I know the beef is deep, but where does Ward go after Kovalev? Elieder Alvarez, Chilemba, Fonfara, Beterbiev, and Stevenson are all with Haymon. Where does Cotto go? Charlos Bros., Lara, J-Rock, all with Haymon. If Cotto wants to go back to WW, Thurman, Garcia, Porter, Broner, Khan, all with Haymon. I'm just sayin'.

Understand this. Cotto is an A Level fighter. He is more skilled than Lara. Lara is not on Cotto's level and is a B Level fighter. However, if they fought, Lara wins due to SIZE only! The end.

Great fight. IMHO, too close to call. Lara's reach will be a problem for Miguel, but Cotto's ability to cut the ring is world-class. Causing problems for Lara to box-run.

Cotto will have to get on the inside, punish the body early, and slow Lara down.

I call very close decision, not sure who wins, unless Cotto catches Lara with a left hook to the head or body and ends it.

I wouldn't fight Lara if I were Coto... the guy just runs and wins rounds doing nothing... I had him losing like 10-2 vs Canelo, he lost to Carlos Molina and was losing to Vanes..

Lara is a cancer in boxing... Cotto would be better off fighting a big name for a pay day and call it a day..

Lol Vanes quit. He's lucky he got a gifted draw. And is not my opinion Vanes himself said he knew the ref were on his favor before the fight. Vanes only landed like 5 punches and was started to get tag at will before quitting.

The dispute runs deeper than boxing and goes back years, it was enough for Quillin to vacate, it isn't going to get forgotten for the sake of a Cotto-Lara fight.

You guy's are spouting nonsense, per usual. There is no feud, Haymon had Quillen vacate the belt because Haymon wanted the fight on PBC and he lost the bid to Rocnation, which meant it wouldn't be on PBC. Haymon will allow fights off PBC if it's a large broadcast, and in this case Rocnation had nothing established. Jay and Haymon never had a problem, it was Beyonce who sued Haymon, which was eventually settled. Jay and Haymon have been seen together multiple times after that. If Rocnation had secured large network for that fight, Haymon would have let it go through. I highly doubt Cotto fights Lara, but if Rocnation showed up to the negotiating table with Cotto and large network backing, Haymon would be all in.
