Good start to sorting out what I believe may be the best division in boxing atm. I like Fortuna, but he is going to have a hard time overcoming Uchiyama's height and reach advantage, which he puts to good use. I tend to agree with what another poster already said in that if Fortuna gets on him early, he has a chance. If not, I can see him getting broke down and stopped late.

the fact that he didnt learn that in the fight is wat surprised me..i was just amazed at how much he wasnt willing to jab and keep the distance..that is wat pissed me off with ppl telling me he deserves the head honcho after losing his belt on the scales then fighting to a draw that i felt was deserved

I think people feel Walters deserves the fight because he is still remembered for the stunning Donaire KO. That will get him some more mileage.

Hope Uchiyama and Fortuna is a good fight and both guys show why they are at or near the top of the division.

I'll check it out. Thing is though lots of guys have height and reach advantages, but few fighters these days really know how to take advantage of it. Uchiyama does. Anyways looking forward to the fight if it comes off. Damn good scrap.
