    Roy Jones' WORST KO

Yeah, I'm flipping it around, because I was reviewing old HBO fights (still amazed at Mayweather/Gatti) and figured I'd ask.

Which of the four of these in your opinion was the most brutal?

Antonio Tarver - Second Fight ("You got any excuses tonight, Roy?")

Glen Johnson ("he takes a RIGHT HAND...")

Denis Lebedev ("I must break you...")

Enzo Maccarinelli ("HE'S GONE! HE'S GONE!")

    16
    Antonio Tarver
    31.25%
    5
    Glen Johnson
    12.50%
    2
    Denis Lebedev
    31.25%
    5
    Enzo Maccarinelli
    25.00%

    The poll is expired.

At least in the Tarver one he wasn't knocked out cold and tried to get back up. But that punch and KO single handily destroyed his chin or what he ever had of a chin since he never really got hit flush with a really hard power shot before, I do remember Roy getting dropped by that Albino Puerto Rican dude, and it looked like the punch wasnt that hard.

But that Glen Johnson KO was the worst dude looked like he had lock jaw his whole body was stiff like a mummy and he was clinching his jaw so hard it probably put teeth marks right through his mouth piece

Johnson locked him up for sure.

But after Lebedev's shots, I honestly thought Roy was paralyzed. And the thing is he wasn't even hit that hard.

Lebedev mostly because of the horrible job Smoger did, that was one of his worst screw-ups.

What was so amazing about the inevitable beat down Gatti was going to get?

Stylistically Floyd had/has never looked better than in that fight. Even his beating of Chico Corrales and the precision surgery on Emmanuel Burton...neither looked so amazingly beautiful as the straight up domination of Arturo Gatti.

It's not that I was surprised Floyd won, but come on. Compare his performance against Castillo in either fight against his performance against Gatti. It's night and day.

This is not to spotlight anything, it's to discuss a given fighter's worst knockout. I mean that's what we do here right? Discuss boxing?

Besides, there are numerous threads talking about Manny. To me they're also spotlighting the fall of a living legend.

That was a beat down, and also one of the biggest mismatches in PPV history. Floyd had no respect for Gatti.
