If Ward asked Kovalev for a 172 lb catch weight would it be an issue?

because you went on a rant about how us guys keep calling atlantic city ward's hometown when i never even said that. i said he fought every fight in his home country. true. he fought most in his home town and home state. true. froch had 1 out of 5 fights in his home country. true.

don't be mad that ward had the super six rigged in his favor. i mean he won the damn thing so that's all that matters. he could have had it rigged in his favor and lost. that would have looked really bad but he got the job done.

now he's fighting barrera in oakland of course or cheaters paradise as ward refers to it. are you going to say ward has no advantage for this fight as well? just a good honest boxing match. may the best man who clinches nonstop and headbutts his opponent win!

Yup like fighting dawson at 168' when dawson was 175 champ, or refusing to fight lucian bute, and letting froch take care of him and then saying you see he wasnt that great and yall tried to make me fight this dude after the fact.

I still think ward mops up ggg though, but im a fair dude and call it how i see it, and im no fan of ggg or ward i think ggg is too slow, and ward with his size would just tie him up and make it a dirty fight, watch the ouma fight with ggg, ggg cant really handle a pressure fight, but most guys fear him so the back up. Now kovalev vs ward is a 50 50 fight and i favor ward. Kovalev has a punchers chance and the reach, but ward knows how to take the fight away.

its pretty funny how we factor cheating into our breakdowns of fights. its just normal to say yeah ward's going to cheat and hold nonstop so its going to be tough for the other guy to win. can't imagine it working if the offensive fighter did that. yea golota's going to go to town on bowe's testicles so its going to be tough for bowe to win.

#1 in the division based on what? The ref saving his life against the hard hitting, super caliber Librado Andrade??

Oh I guess he did redeem himself by beating the pound for pound ranked Jean-Paul Mendy.

It would be something that ward would try to pull alright. Kovalev should have no truck with it though. Ward has squandered his name. Kovalev is the clear A-side in this no way should he weaken himself by dropping down to a catchweight for his titles. And I don't think he would either.

how was fighting in atlantic city an advantage? i thought my post made it obvious that this was my angle. he didn't get favorable officiating. in fact, the north american judges, including one from jersey, gave froch too many rounds. the crowd was a mostly partisan casino crowd. froch probably travelled a few extra hours. is that why he lost?

ward had no advantage against froch in the final. he lost almost all of the rounds in a fair fight.

It would be a negative response as it SHOULD BE but that is not going to happen.

this really is my favorite manifestation of the fear of andre ward. the bute nutthuggery that remains even after it's become obvious that bute was overrated. he lost to froch, FFS. he lost

they're like children, man. don't pay them any attention. they're scared little kids.
