We will find out for sure what if any involvement Haymon had when the promotions for this fight begin. But so far the most credible source says it was done without his involvement. And the end result is not good for Haymon no matter how you spin it. Losing Khan to golden boy who is currently suing him in a fight that will make money over fist for Golden Boy is not a good look. Especially when just a week ago PBC was talking about Khan fighting in one of the biggest matchups to date for PBC. It's basically a double whammy lose money and give money to golden boy. Hell maybe golden boy uses some of the profits to increase their lawyers to beat Haymon in court LMAO

Amir Khan has failed to produce significant viewership on the 3 events I cited.
Does that make sense to you? Simple enough?
Regarding Khan's Showtime numbers...Showtime's boxing ratings were significantly down in 2014, and Khan's last fight on the network (against Alexander) was up against an HBO boxing card...with that, it did to a 762k avg/887k peak...meaning it still did better than many of SHO's cards that year.

Like I clearly stated, he is not a significant television draw based on the metrics.
For comparison, Adrien Broner apparently draws more significant viewership on a consistent basis than Amir Khan based on citing Broner's viewership numbers before PBC and during PBC.
Simple enough for you to comprehend Mitchell?

And compared to basic cable on PBC Khan did more viewers then Thurman did on basic cable (ESPN), more then Porter did (Spike). Under any measurable he was one of PBC's biggest draws and they just lost him to the network they are fighting to put out of business and the promoter who is suing to shut PBC down. You just can't minimize how big a blow this is to PBC.Last edited by PKing; 02-02-2016, 02:45 PM.

Listen I'm not saying Khan is the biggest star in boxing but he is clearly one of the biggest stars in PBC camp for whatever that's worth and it hurts to lose him especially to their rival who is suing them for 300 mil and trying to shut PBC down.
