well, who has hatton fought to prove he can handle hand speed? He fought one with pretty decent hand in Collazo and he couldn't handle somoene boxing him. And Mayweather is levels above Collazo.

Hatton did nothing to impress me and mayweather would def KO or TKO (his face would be swollen like crazy). This fight is NOT going the distance.

Also, Mayweather dosn't struggle against fighters who put up pressure. In the first fight with castillio, PBF fought a great fighter and he was moving up in weight. You hatton huggers use the excuse of this was his first fight moving up. Well castillio was PBF first fight moving up. Also in the first fight he had somethin wrong with this rotator cuff in his right shoulder.

In the second fight he pretty much neutralized castillio.

Hatton applys pressure better and more effectively then anybody out there today. As uve seen before, mayweather has his toughest fights against people who apply constant pressure. AKA augustus and castillo.

Idc what anybody says, if hatton doesnt win, this will still be the toughest and most challenging fight of mayweathers career. He would have to take a beating to land his punches, and i just dont see mayweather wanting to get hit. I see hatton winning by KO in the 10th or 11th in what experts will call the biggest upset in years.
I don't know why people EVEN mention the Augustus fight when refering to Hatton vs Mayweather.

Floyd demolished Augustus, that was a bona fide turkey carving on display. Burton got a heavy tattooing.

The only reason gatti got embarrassed by PBF and DLH is because he struggles against speed and counter fighters. Hatton has proved in many of his fights that he can handle speed and counter fighters with his constant pressure.

Maybe Mayweather would win, but it would not be an embarrasment for hatton. the fight would probably go the distance, and if anybody gets KOed, it would be Mayweather. Hatton would definetly give PBF the most challenging fight of his career.

I say this because Mayweather constantly struggles against pressure. Agustus and castillo have both given PBF extremely tough fights because they apply constant pressure. These guys dont apply pressure nearly as well or as effectively as hatton does, and neither of them have half the power or half the body shot that hatton has
Sorry but i think thats where u are going wrong on this and why u might have the wrong opinion lol. You are thinking Hatton is a better fighter/pressure fighter than Castillo and thats just wrong. Hatton just like Gatti both lack the technical skills to as you said "effectively" apply preassure to pretty boy. Hatton just lacks the tools, and clinching floyd to death just isnt going to work.

THank you! DO you know how many times in the collazo fight, Hatton woudl walk in and try to pressure him but he would then get caught with 2-3 shots then he would clinch.

Hatton would be a walking right into 3, 4 , 5 hit combinations.

Hatton is a joke and a C class fighter, if he fights anyone worth mentioning from this point on and that includes Collazo then i see him losing, there are however a few NAME guys such as Corrales, Castillo, Blad or Gatti that i see him hanging with, but guys like PBF and a few others would eat this guy alive in 12 rounds, no doubt about it! His not at all impressive and the only good thing he has other then his power.......is well....... his power nothing else, his a joke and this will be proven by either the fights he takes NO NAMES, or again the fights he takes! MAKE SENSE

I sometimes wonder if I'm the only guy on this forum who knows absolutely anything about boxing, in terms of the physical side of it and technique side.

Can we discuss Hatton-Mayweather in terms of technique rather than just "Hatton's a bum, he'll get KTFO, LMAO", please?

For example, thirteen pages in and I still haven't seen discussion of the following:

                    1. Collazo being a significantly larger man than Floyd... Floyd is fighting out of his natural division like Hatton, and isn't a big hitter at the 147 weight. While Collazo isn't a "puncher" in his division, just compare Judah's last two fights for an example of Floyd vs. a natural 147lber in terms of punching power.

                    2. Hatton has trouble with southpaws. The speed, the size, the power... that's all to be determined by future fights at the weight. For now, the only thing we do know is that Hatton is subseptible to being hit out of the southpaw stance (his only pro KD coming from one). If Floyd gets troubled by Hatton we know he can switch to a southpaw style... discuss.

                    3. "Floyd will beat Hatton like he did Gatti". This statement is getting so boring it's not even funny. I'm not even a Hatton fan but if you think he's the same level as Arturo - with all due respect to Arturo - you need to watch some more Hatton fights.
