how did he do a poor job in the ortiz fight? ortiz can look at him all he wants but it isnt the refs job to keep mayweather off him. once the ref signals them to fight (which cortez did) ortiz has to do that all on his own. its a fight not a hugging competition.

the hatton fight he didnt do anything wrong either. but i guess if your a big enough fan and biased enough you can turn it any way you want. but its impossible, absolutely impossible to blame the ortiz-mayweather KO on anybody other than ortiz. the man didnt protect himself and got ktfo by a 100% legal punch, i guess if ortiz looked at michael buffer at ringside it wouldve been his fault too.

again he didnt do nothing wrong against hatton either. perhaps he broke them a little too soon sometimes and when he shouldnt have broke them up at all once or twice.. maybe. but overall it wasnt a terrible job like hatton fans make it out to be. and even if it was whats the diffrence, are you telling me hatton was winning on the inside? answer me that question please.
