i hate Wilder more than anyone here, that said:

Povo's Manager said he "thinks" Wilder will do that and i see people already saying it is a **** move.

I think WW3 starts this year and we loose, does it mean ****? No.

If it goes to purse bids it will definatly end up in Russia as Povetkins Promoter has enough money to buy anything. Wilder wont go to russia, we know that. So its safe to assume unless the fight is agreed to be a mega fight in USA (unlikely considering Wilder cant sell) its going to purse bids and wilders vacating

Inexcusable if Wilder goes this route. Wilder has spent the last year talking up the WBC title that he has, talking about unification and also stating that he'll fight Povetkin. This would be one of the biggest b1tch moves in boxing history.

On the other hand, maybe Povetkin's promoter is trying to turn up the heat on Wilder in making this fight and that's the reason for this statement.

It would a really bi*ch move by Wilder. He would give up a massive pay day but on the other hand look at the BS happening in Russia with false drug testing & the entire Chagaeb/Oquendo fiasco. Russia isn't the best place to go right now. This would never have been an issue if they didn't strip Fury or Glazkov won his fight. The IBF crap really screwed the division. If Wilder vacates(i never thought he would) & fights martin I hope he gets KTFO! I would laugh because his huge paydays vs klitschko, fury & povetkin would be gone. He is better off fighting sasha & taking the money.

The response should be interesting none the less.

Highly highly doubtful. Pride and whatever feelings one has for Wilder aside, that would be a very poor business decision considering the earning potential the WBC belt provides.

martin's undefeated and involved with the pbc so you know he brings that big money so it would be the much better fight anyway.

Vacant belt would be Povetkin vs Joshua

Povetkin & joshua #1 & 2... If AJ doesn't fight for the belt the next in line would be Stiverne...
1 .- Alexander Povetkin (Russia) SILVER
                    2 .- Anthony Joshua (GB) INTL/COMM
                    3 .- Bermane Stiverne (Haiti/Canada)
                    4 .- Kubrat Pulev (Bulgaria)
                    5 .- Carlos Takam (Cameroon)
                    6 .- Artur Szpilka (Poland)
7 .- Joseph Parker (New Zealand) OPBF / EPBC
8 .- Andy Ruiz (Mexico) NABF
                    9 .- Chris Arreola (US)
                    10 .- Tomasz Adamek (Poland)
If wilder fights povetkin you would have 2 pretty good eliminators lineup in Stiverne/Joshua & Pulev/Takam...

pshhhhhhh. Team wilder isnt scared of povektin. Bring him on and see him get sparked.

Wilder has expressed his willingness to fight him already.
