didn't knwo that. appreciate the correction, doe. it is significant. as far as i know, it's still int he open division, but the age limit would be hugely significant, considering that many of the cubans, former soviet blocks, fight amateur when they are grown men.
next time somebody calls me a biased ward fan you can slap them. i'm a fan of andre ward, and of boxing. a dog loves a bone.

This is going to be a very good fight and i'm interested to see how Ward performs being that he is going up in weight coming off of a long layoff and facing a very tough opponent in BarreraComment

Golovkin COULD have fought 4 world-class fighters, but he CHOSE not to.
Look, I will prove it.....
Golovkin: I'll fight anyone at 154, 160, 168.....
Gennady Golovkin, who might be the best middleweight -- hell, one of the best boxers, pound for pound -- who you don't know, was at Madison Square Garden scouting Sergio Martinez Saturday night.
Gennady Golovkin gets bold; tells the media that he's coming for everybody between 154-168 pounds.....
GGG between 154-168 to fight Mayweather, Canelo.....
GGG says ''154-168 is easy'' Sparring Champion Cruiserweights!.....
There is the proof, in black and white, clear as day.....
..... he COULD have fought 4 world-class fighters, but he CHOSE not to.Comment
