Would re-intrducing 15rd fights, change boxing?

Go back and watch the Cotto Margarito rematch, he got stopped because of his eye. The doctor stopped it early, he couldn't last 12, so how does 3 more rounds benefit him?
Also Manny almost killed Tony, his corner should have stopped the fight. He had no chance of winning, Manny actually took it easy on him and didn't throw with the same power and pulling his punches.
Bad examples.
15 rounds would be great, the corner and doctors would have to stop fights when they were no close (Manny vs Tony) otherwise someone would die.Comment

Are you serious?
If anything I would love PBC to take the initiative and reduce the amount of rounds. Make it 8 rounds! This eliminates feel out rounds, eliminates, wasted rounds, and brings a sense of urgency in fights.
More action, more KO's and best of all, if two fighters with bad styles get put on an undercard it's only 8 damn rounds.Comment

Interesting, I think you are the first guy I have even heard that wants LESS rds most want more or like it as is. You do bring up some good points though but thats to quick for me and some fighters take a little longer to warm up than others. Also I think thered be more draws. But to each their own, and valid points you bring up...Are you serious?

I'd rather see sanctioning bodies require more frequent defenses; say 4 per year.Comment
