Meaning do you think it would change all the title holders and re-arrange the p4p rankings? Id love to see PBC take the initiative and make all their title fights 15rds. I know its wishful thinking though...
Would re-intrducing 15rd fights, change boxing?

It would mean no more title fights on network TV. Title fights went to 12 rounds primarily so they could broadcast a fight in an hour instead of an hour and a 1/2.
I wouldn't mind it. It would really separate the elite fighters from the good ones. -
No it would only get more guys hurt bad. 15 round fights were awesome back in the day, but i really wouldn't want to see guys like Golovkin, Kovalev and provodnikov punch guys out for 3 more rounds. They may outlaw the sport then.Comment

society is too PC for that.
But I wouldent mind, why not more boxing and just adds another layer to the difficulty in becoming elite.
But I think a more important issue is having experienced doctors and refs involved in fights, alot of fight are called too early as a preemptive strike and IMO thats not how it should be. A ref and doctor should only get involved and stop a fight due to the immediate safety of the boxer not because he COULD get hurt more, I hate these refs and doctors who change the faith of the fight.Comment

I would prefer this to have happened about 4-5 years ago, that way WARgarito wins the Cotto II, and Pacmonster fights. As the unbiased recall, Tony ran out of rounds.Comment

Garcia would have been stopped by Peterson with three more rounds.
Lee would have gotten the decision against Saunders with three more rounds to close the gap.
Murray would have gotten the decision over Martinez with three more rounds.Comment

Of course you have guys who barley make it to round 12. 15 round fights would benefit hispanic fighters who put body attacks on their opponents. Runners would seek steroids to increase their stamina maybe move to Vegas so that they can use IV's to clean themselves before the testComment

"Would making changes to boxing change boxing?" is essentially what is being asked . . .Comment
