Chavez Jr. has talent but he lacks any determination and ambition. I mean he beat up a top 5 MW in Andy Lee.

it is not pbc's fault he lost..if he would hav won he would have stevenson, beterbiev, kovalev, degale, jack...man it would hav ebeen huge fights for him not just one pay day with GGG that they would have lost money on bc GGG was not selling anything and neither is chavez now..aslo his purse was not aonly ap purse was an agreement to stay with arum..didnt want to sign his career away for one fight and i cant blame him

Chavez had a guaranteed deal for 2 career paydays if he fought GGG. He would of made more in 1 fight vs GGG than his 3 fights combined with Haymon.

And yes, it is Haymon/PBC's fault he lost.

Top Rank wasn't ****** enough to put Chavez in with a bigger oppoonent. PBC apparently, is.

well i dont ask promoters to save fighters..thats some new age fan ****...but im sure you were in the crowd taht said TR was moving his too safe and cherry picking...u cant have it both way just to hate on pbc...he lost and he's making a comeback this is a fight he could win and he doesnt have to drop down to 160..

it was about more than money with arum..chavez didnt like how arum wouldnt let him be his own man. and haymon paid him well to join up too so go check that our..chavez made a good decision..haymon is the only person that might have lost so far not chavez

No, that's actually a promoters job, to protect there fighter, to protect there investment and build that fighter up through the ranks in an intelligent way.

Arutro Gatti's promoter use to hire security guards for him. But not to protect him. They hired them to keep him from partying on fight week.

Thats why 400k people were willing to dish out for Chavez last ppv. That's what good promoters do.

It's been all down hill since he joined Haymon, he didn't lose any support for losing to Sergio, most of his fans talked up his 12th rnd.

Signed with Haymon, now he's fighting nobody's, and his own fans are booing him.
