Mike Arnoutis type of fighter.

Skilled, good work rate, great conditioning, but against the top dogs he won't be physically strong enough to play with them.

I hope more for him than Mike Arnoutis lol

Can't claim to be an expert, but considering Martinez's last two fights, the ease which Vasquez beat him was impressive. He looked at least two classes above a guy who beat Danny Garcia's opponent that night.

Honestly man, after seeing Vasquez dispatch Martinez, I thought for sure Garcia was going to KO Guerrero if Martinez dropped him and went 10 with him but I was wrong and made me realize Vasquez could be special...

Mike Arnoutis was pretty good though. I sat ringside for a few of his fights and I was thoroughly impressed.

But these guys at the highest level. There naturally physically strong dudes. Mike found that out every time he tried to step up and got crushed.

Another guy on that level would be Vernon Paris. He looked like a pretty solid all around fighter. But even a older version of Zab was able to crush him.

I just don't think Vasquez will be able to handle that next level physicality, but well see.

2016 will be Sammy's year. He has continued to step up his competition fight after fight and dominated every single one of them. That's how champions are born. Sammy Vasquez has a great future with PBC.

Been very impressed with him, he's got very good skill and he can fight in the pocket. He's going to be very hard to beat. I'd like to see him in there with Chaves next.

Man i used to like Paris, he got whooped by Zab.

I think he's better than Arnoutis, but you make a good point about physicality as you move up in the ranks. He has a nice style, pretty solid, I like him a lot....he has more flash than Arnoutis and Paris probably but nothing is leaping off the screen in the way that some prospects can. He's not even really a prospect in the traditional sense he seems more like a late-bloomer in boxing, I don't really know how to classify him. He was not as fast as I had hoped seeing him live on Saturday.

Who would win Vasquez or that version of Zab that Paris fought?
