I made a ton of money on this fight. Not as much as I made on Shane/ODH, but a good bit.

I Still laugh at anyone that actually thought ODH going down to 147 would actually beat Manny. I will take speed over size EVERY time.

No to both but certainly Floyd was prime in 2007 when Oscar clearly was not.

I mentioned that because you said that you think the biggest calculated risk taker of all time is the greatest WW of all time. Thumbs down.

Fighting Oscar @ 154 was very risky, and it could not have happened if Mayweather didn't leave Arum. So to leave your promoter, and fight a guy who just became Super WW Champ by beating Mayorga by TKO a year earlier, and you're a small WW, I would say that was very risky. By the way, Oscar was only 34 when Floyd beat him. How old was Mayweather in the Pacquiao fight?

All I know is he (Floyd) was a champion for 18 years. That's a nice run! Castillo, Gatti, Corrales, Judah, De La Hoya, Marquez, Cotto, Canelo and Pacquiao...AND STILL!

Not sure I buy this. Roach wasn't on board with Pacman fighting Oscar UNTIL after the Forbes fight. That's when Freddie started saying he can't pull the trigger no more after that fight. It was supposed to be a easy tune up and while Oscar won damn near every round it looked bad. He took a ton punches and ended up getting his eye injured in the process. In his prime Forbes was a fighter Oscar would of knocked out easily and not dragged to a 12 round decision. You add the fact that 147 was not a healthy weight for him not fought that light in a decade. He was too drained and washed up looked nothing like Oscar we saw in the 90's. Not a fan of Floyd but always gave him more credit for his win against Oscar because it was his natural weight and he had more left in the tank. Oscar was foolish continuing his career after Forbes. Should of retired after Mayorga or Forbes. If god forbid he wanted to stay fighting he needed to stay at 154.

Oscar was washed up and drained when he fought Pacquiao.

Pacquiao was shot and damaged goods before he fought Floyd, according to Floyd he was washed up has been lol.

Are you one of those Floyd biased unconditional lovers who said Cotto was damaged and drained when Pacquiao fought him and discredited that win, yet when Floyd fought Cotto he was not a leftover anymore and fresh?

This why I cant take that serious, if you want to be fair which you dont you would tell Floyd your win over Manny is nothing it was 6 years too late and he was already knocked out cold and severely damaged and war torn, why only apply that discredit to Paquiao opponents and not Floyd? if you want to be fair

The only difference here is Oscar fought both guys in their primes.

The other similarity is both Manny and ODH waited to fight Floyd.

Who? Oh you're not talking about Fraud Pedcheater Jr are you? That magic show is over and the strings, mirrors and IV's have been exposed. 45-4 great run even for a vulture but he did much better as an amateur where he lost the gold and silver medals but still managed to acquire a Bronze. He will be remembered as one of the best American Olympian Boxers of the 90's at Featherweight. even though his legacy was shamed by drug test violations and brings his entire pro record into question.
