Those 154 lbs would have to go up to 160, GGG probably won't go down to 154 for them.

The boxing community demands that the champion (GGG) chase his contenders... that sounds ridiculous to me... can you imagine Floyd chasing down fighters... isn't it the other way around usually, where the contenders chase the champions. Lara isn't even a contender at 160 and fans are getting so desperate that they want GGG to start chasing any one who utters his name and has a somewhat recognizable name. If you truly believe that Lara wanted to fight GGG put pressure on him to start calling GGG right now.
I think you have hit the nail on the head. Lara or his team aren't serious about the fight. They are famous for calling out guys who they never end up fighting.

So, your boy can't make any compromise for a fight that would make him a star? Only Floyd at 154? No Canelo at 155?

GGG's team has tried to make fights with BJS before they went to Johnson, who can't fight himself. I dont see too many names who would go near GGG but at the same time i am not sure if team GGG has made any offers to them either. i would love to see Daniel Jacobs in there with him, or even fighters like peter Quilen or Andy lee even though they recently lost, in their own way they have something to offer (name recognition, and a skill set that could pose some problems). However other than the one's mentioned i dont see any 160 lbs, or 154 lbs who are viable options.
            Ok. I understand your point.

and why does GGG need to send a 154 lbs an offer? he isn't in his division, isn't ranked in his division, has nothing to do with 160 (never fought there as far as i know). Maybe Lara doesn't need to send a contract but start making big noise right now when GGG is looking, i think we both can agree that if Lara would harass GGG like he harassed Canelo this fight is much more likely to be made.

lol but big bad GGG had no problem fighting Rosado (a 154 pounder) at his first fight at 160. Its a never ending cycle with you GGG tards and Lara has had plenty of fights, over 154 (MW remember?) so thats a BS excuse.

i guess that's up to him, but at the same time this fight will be career changing, maybe he feels he will not be strong enough for Canelo if he dropped to 155, so going down to that weight and losing won't do any good for him, Canelo is no slouch.

Maybe he feels that because it is for a 160 belt that the fight should take place at 160.

either way fighting for a championship of 160 should take place at 160 otherwise weight divisions truly mean nothing.

Every fighter wants the most lucrative fights available. The question is what do they do when they do not get those fights?

GGG keeps taking on guys that have no chance to win instead of taking on someone with a chance to win that might make him utilize other skills. Yes, that better than a guy like Khan who just isn't fighting.

Just isn't an interesting or compelling fight.

i wonder how much they paid Rosado. i bet it's not 1 million+, you GGG haters love to compare apples an oranges.

unlike Rosado, unlike Monroe Lara want's premium dollar. apples to apples my friend... got to learn how to see the situation for what it is.
