No, he was at his weakest when he got rocked by Eric Molina. The Duhaupas fight he fought pretty well, used a good jab, mixed up his shots, fought on the inside and the outside, used angles, threw combos and counter shots and took out a game tough opponent who's never been stopped before. Really not a bad performance at all.
Did people forget how bad Wilder looked?

Oh come on, Duhapaus caught him numerous times and turned his eye into a tennis ballNo, he was at his weakest when he got rocked by Eric Molina. And lets not pretend like Duhapaus was a legit opponent. He was out of shape and had no head movement at allComment

Duhaupas had plenty of head movement. He made Wilder miss numerous times. And how was he out of shape? He weighed less for this fight than he did when he beat Charr and took Teper to a very competitive points decision. Wilder got caught multiple times because he was, in fact, in with a legit opponent, whatever his official rating may have been.Comment

He had zero head movement, made it easy for wilder to tag him. Seriously watch the fight again, even the commentators are wondering why duhapaus just wonders straight in.Duhaupas had plenty of head movement. He made Wilder miss numerous times. Duhapaus was not a legit opponent in a world title fight, he is a club fighter ffs. Desioning a shot charr and losing to a juiced up Teper dont change thatComment

I watched the fight a few days ago. Duhaupas was no Chris Byrd, but he had head movement, make no mistake about that.He had zero head movement, made it easy for wilder to tag him. Seriously watch the fight again, even the commentators are wondering why duhapaus just wonders straight in.

I don't rate Duhaupas super high, but he was nowhere near as bad as people tried to make him out. He was a good solid test, and Wilder handled him pretty well, despite the eye injury.Comment

He may have been a good solid test for someone coming up in the game, but not a world champion with 36 fights under his belt.I watched the fight a few days ago. Duhaupas was no Chris Byrd, but he had head movement, make no mistake about that.

If Duhapaus is the measuring stick than Joshua, Parker and Hughie Fury are more than ready for the top levelComment

If they beat Duhaupas then sure I'd agree with that. Joshua's nearly there already, and Parker just needs a name win to propel him into the top ten.Comment

Maybe, but Parker has yet to fight anyone on his level, and Joshua just had a shock against the untested Whyte. Duhaupas ain't great, but he's one of those guys who's always going to give guys of a certain level a test due to his meat and potatoes style.Comment
