according to twitter, the WBA won't because Jacobs-GGG could potentially mess up the supposed GGG-Canelo fight in September.

How a fight in April/May could mess up a fight in September is beyond me. That is unless the powers that be thinks Jacobs could cause a massive upset spoiling the September plans.

Either way, the WBA said they'll have a response by this Wednesday.

The kid has three scheduled 10rd+ fights in his career. So it seems a lil premature to put him in with the best middleweight in the world. But hey, Rocky Balboa shook the hell outta Apollo Creed with a less than spectacular resume. And Adonis Creed shook the hell outta the #1 P4P fighter in the world with pretty much no pro resume. So its not like it can't be done.

Now they try for titleholders, don't get them, and look for easy fights because GGG now has enough of a following to get away with it. It's ****ing ******.
