Would be more attractive if Korobov was still undefeated and didn't sit 2015 out.

Than again there's still Lee who might be available.
Lee and N'Dam coming off losses? No, thanks.
I'd take Korobov if it comes to that.

Why can't they call Haymon for his fighters at 160 and 168?

Just like that! Why don't they call him? Because it's of common knowledge Haymon has a cardboard hanging at his door which reads: "We provide GGG with opponents for HBO fights!"

Korobov does have talent, but what he lacks is that extra gear. He will out talent a guy, and then he lets them linger. It cost him once and almost cost him a couple other times. If he had that extra gear, to go after a tamed opponent, he would still be undefeated.

At his age he cannot change. He will do fairly well against GGG for the first few rounds and probably land more on GGG than any other opponent has, then slowly get beat down.

Lara, and basically all Haymon fighters have made it known to fight GGG they want to be paid handsomely. If Lara fight was a PPV, then that'd make some sense, if they could get past the Haymon/HBO blockade, but it's not.

Lara isn't that popular, can't sell out crap, and wouldn't be that huge of a win.

If GGG wanted to please his haters, beating Lara wouldn't even move the needle. The haters would just say Lara is too small, despite the fact they walk into the ring around the same weight.

So they don't get paid, get little real respect, get no title or anything, and had to overpay Lara with little in return.

Not to mention the entire thing is unlikely to happen.

Better yet, why doesn't Lara make the contracted offer. Then GGG would know it's serious, and Haymon is really ready to work with HBO.

No reasons for GGG to overpay Lara.

What's happening with N'Dam? Does he have a fight lined up?
Shoot, he wants no parts of GGG....I think he actually vacated a title to avoid fighting him a few years back.

Canelo and Floyd are scared...what can the man do? The fact that Triple G is considered the "Interim WBC cham" is a joke...

The 170+ fight night-weighing Ginger aka the Catch-weight King is able to fight 147-154 pounders at 155 and call himself the Middleweight champion...

Only MW in history to be MW champ without ever fighting anyone whose actually weighed 160 in a fight...
