Do you know what Stevenson has been offered to fight Kovalev versus what he's been offered to fight on the next PBC or Showtime fight?

Even if you're right about Stevenson making more money to fight on PBC/Showtime, I'm not aware of PBC/Showtime offering more money to HBO fighters than they are getting on HBO. Are you? Works both ways, so it's still not Duva's fault.

October? How long does it really take to decide on money split, venue, and minor intangibles?

more paying fans like stevenson than kovalev. Stevenson makes way more money than Kovalev does at this point.

so don't act surprised when the fight's in montreal and stevenson wants more money than kova.

Goes to show how confident they are of beating Pascal again. Hopefully it back fires.

            This lie again?

Duva didn't petition for the purse bid, Haymon/Gym did.

Duva petitioned for Kovalev to made Stevenson's mando, hoping she could then negotiate a deal to make the fight, which is what usually happens in those circumstances.

But Gym/Haymon refused to negotiate and petitoned the WBC for an immediate purse bid.

Duva later played the same trick herself to get Fury stripped of the IBF belt, btw.

Kovalev has already said he would fight Stevenson in Montreal, so that shouldn't be a problem.

According to Duva, she and Yvon Michel already came to an agreement on all the terms, which would include the purse split.

The WBC screwed her over. When is the last time a sanctioning body ordered a purse bid with both fighters allowed to fight interim bouts? I don't know of another instance. Usually purse bid bouts have to take place within 90 days of the bid and no interim fights are allowed. It was a ridiculous deviation from the WBC rules instigated by Haymon and Yvon Michel.

Facts: In the past 12 months, Kovalev sold more tickets and PPVs in Montreal than Stevenson. Kovalev's last fight on HBO had over a million viewers. Stevenson's last fight on Spike had 500k, despite being on a network with much wider distribution.

Nah... This isn't the reason, in case they make the fight. PBC was never in the green, so it doesn't really have from where to "go under".
From what I remember, last year in March, Michel said that this fight will happen in 2016.
