There is nothing intense at all about the staredown. Thurman always puts on a fake staredown and smiles 2 seconds later. He wants to be mean-spirited but doesn't have that type of nature.

I think Porter is to raw and wild, i think Thurman stops him late or wins UD.

Porter to outwork Thurman to an easy UD.

Rooting for Porter. Decent scrap, I see neither one being anything special but that's what makes it rather intriguing.

Don't care who wins, just want a good fight.

As far as an intense photo, PBC trying hard to sell this as a big fight, its not, thats not an intense face to face, and neither of these guys can sell a fight for ****.

                But but.. It's free doe.

Honestly, the Welterweight division seems rather dull to me at the moment. Floyd retired, Pacquiao is on his way out and is taking on Bradley for a 3rd time, khan is wasting his prime, Brook is busy fighting nobodies, this very fight took months and several push backs before consolidating, Garcia just won a vacant strap against a fading Guerrero... I mean, no one stands out from the bunch and no one is truly challenging themselves without months of delay to actually make a significant fight come together.

Thurman trying to sell this fight or himself as a star is hilarious, falls right in line with the rest of PBC's awful execution smd promotion.

It's still a great division, they just need to fight each other.

Maidana went through a gauntlet of tough fights to earn himself a Floyd fight and become a start.

None of these other guys want to do that, hence why none of them have star power.

                      Even fight.

Both good fighters, but I'll be interested to see how Thurman takes Porters punches.
