And what about N'dam in which DL beat him for the vacant title? Quillin already dropped N'dam 6 times.

What about Guerrero which is Lemieux's 3rd best win? Quillin already destroyed him.

What about Lemiuex's KO loss to C Class Rubio and decision loss to Alcine? How many C Class fighters did Quillin lose to or has already beaten?

No matter how you cut it, Quillin was the better more proven fighter. Jacobs win over Quillin is currently the best at 160.

Lara needs a fight as well, he hasn't fought an actual JMW since Dec '14 and that was Ishe Smith. Lara's the one who was talking up a storm about wanting to fight GGG, now is his opportunity - he has no fight and GGG is looking for an opponent. Why is he suddenly silent?

I agree with this post to an extent. I agree because you're right, Lara should be a little more vocal if he wants the fight. But then I disagree with this post because Matt Korobov hasn't said a peep, yet somehow he got the call. In fact, BJS was very vocal about NOT wanting the call and Team Golovkin still tried to force feed him the cake.

So I'm not sure if being vocal or not has anything to do with getting the call.

I don't ming GGG fighting Korobov, always followed the kid since he turned pro. Make no mistake Matt is an amateur pedigree two times world champion. Just a few boxers achieved that including Rigo. The fight could be on high demand from Russia as well. In the absence of any decent contenders that's a good option.

But here's my point - in the past Lara's been very vocal about fighting Golovkin and it's usually when he's got a fight coming up, so he's committed to someone other than Golovkin. Now the circumstances are such that it's a golden opportunity for Lara to speak out, and yet he's completely silent. There are two fights Lara says he wants - Golovkin and a rematch with Canelo. Well this is his major opportunity, beat Golovkin and you get a mandatory shot at Canelo. I just can't understand why Lara is suddenly quiet about fighting Golovkin when his window of opportunity has never been more open. I badly want Golovkin/Lara & Golovkin/Jacobs. So I want both sides to work to making those fights!

In regards to Korobov, K2's putting out feelers on a number of fighters right now. We don't know exactly who, we only know about Korobov because his manager came forward with the news. Korobov didn't receive an official offer, they just checked to see if he was interested. It's possible Jacobs & Lara's teams received the same calls from K2, but no one's said anything to the media yet. K2 never initially talked about contacting BJS, it was Warren & BJS the told the media about the offer.

Rosado fought well with Charlo according to some people.

Ndam won every round that Quillin didn't drop him in.

Quit acting like Quillin is any better than Lemieux. They're both the same calibre fighter - flawed, little boxing ability, only have power. I'd take Lemieux to KO Quillin though.

That's true. Korobov hasn't been vocal at all yet he gets a call.

I don't see why Lara can't get a call too. If nothing else just to call his bluff.

• Eubank has a fight in March (as does BJS) and it looks like Saunders/Eubank are setting up for a summer rematch.
• Quillin & Jacobs are talking rematch.
• Heiland is having promoter issues, and sounds to be on the shelf til his contract runs out in the summer.
• Lee, Korobov and N'Dam are available, no-politics, and cheap.
• Not sure about Soro. He's been turning down fights with Liam Smith, J-Rock, and most recently dumped his Euro MW title rather than fight some Italian guy. I doubt he'd be willing to fight Golovkin for reasonable money despite him not being a big name opponent.

My money would be on Lee, but my hope is on Lara.
