Erislandy Lara isn't bigger. Demetrius Andrade isn't bigger.

SOME fighters are avoiding Golovkin, TODAY, no question.

But Golovkin COULD have fought 4 world-class opponents by now.

And in every single case he CHOSE not to fight them.

Golovkin has the exact resume he wanted.

What world-class opponent did Golovkin fight ?
4 ha? I can name 1 in Ward...where's the other 3? And let's leave out Twitter posts..I'm talking actual contract sent and discussion of a fight vs GGG.

        Lara:
-Under Haymon - please elaborate how you think this fight happens when there is no big $$$ to be made and for sides to come together).
        -Zero opponents at middleweight

Still not convinced he's seriously willing to fight Golovkin. Please elaborate how you see that he is, besides his manager or whoever going on his twitter talking trash?

Demetrius Andrade? What is his name coming up from?
You really think Golovkin is afraid of a guy who struggled against Vanes Martirosyan?

        Seriously?

Korobov didn't live up to expectations. He was a great amateur but he plateaued as a professional.

Golovkin is clearly seeking an opponent, how come Lara's twitter is utterly silent?

Lara was in talks to rematch Martirosyn a week ago, but Vanes moved on when he got talks going to fight Jermall Charlo for the IBF title. This is Lara's chance, how come he ain't shouting for it? Same with Danny Jacobs, utterly silent. Demetrius Andrade said he wants Alvarez, well here's his ticket, why isn't he talking?

This is a huge opportunity for these guys, they say they can beat Golovkin and it would make them mandatory for $Alvarez$, why aren't they jumping to fight Golovkin????

Yep, Lara's camp just called up Liam Smith a couple of weeks ago to pursue a fight yet somehow hasn't been able to find K2's digits for the past year. Two seconds on Google and lookie here...310-399-2101. Wonder why they haven't made the call.

He looked really good as a pro until the back injury.

Top Rank considered him there biggest upcoming star at one point.

Korobov lost by TKO to Andy Lee, but I think he could have kept going in all honesty. He was taking some shots but he didn't fold. Dude has an iron chin and probably should have taken a knee and recompose himself.

People act like Korobov is a bum because of that one loss, but lets not forget he was pretty much dominating the score cards against Lee.

50-45, 50-45, 48-47 were the judges score at that point, and I also had Korobov ahead (almost every round).

But, as per usual, if you aren't an all-time great you're a bum if you're fighting Golovkin. Only bigger opponents are acceptable. Scratch that, if you have even one suspect loss to a non-all-time great you're also a bum.
Lemieux got stopped by Rubio, so he's a bum for ever more.

Korobov got stopped by Lee, so he's a bum for ever more too.

Jacobs got KO'd by Pirog, but he would be the best name on GGG's resume.

Shit, even Quillin, who just got stopped by Jacobs, would be the best name on GGG's resume.

                  Funny how that works innit.

GGG is at a very tough spot in his career right now, he can't get the big fights at his weight and he doesn't wanna stay inactive too long, if Koborov is the only one willing to fight him then he should just fight him, but I think Lara would've been a much better choice than Koborov and he would be the best most credible opponent GGG has ever faced and he showed interest in the fight.
