The rule book says you should not negotiate in the position of weakness. You get what you deserve in that kind of situation. Common sense tells you that you're not suppose to beg. If you do, then don't complain whatever is given to you.

You negotiate with something to offer, or you have fulfilled what was asked of you. Khan repeatedly asked Brook he should first defend his title against a legit opponent. Brook refused to do so.

In the first place why would you even want to put all your eggs in the Khan basket? That's just ******. It makes you look like an opportunistic person who can't do it on his own. Had Hearn and Brook pursued somebody like Thurman and won, Khan would have been the one begging for the fight. But they're too scared to lose the Khan pay day. Brook stock would have shoot up astronomically. He probably wont' even need Khan.

The truth is inactivity has took the shine off both of them , although in Kells case sympathies apply. At this point in their welterweight careers it is only Kell that has dared go in to the lions den with the then unbeaten highly touted Porter.Khan for his part has done nothing at the wight aside from fight light hitters, over the hill fighters and little men.Khan talks of boxing as a business as he tries to convince people of how savvy a mover he his when it comes to making the most of it but then runs away , again as he did to fight Algieri instead of Brook for loads less. Finds himself in the unearned position of fighting for world titles , one of which he'll earn around £2 m and one he'd earn around £8-10 m .....only a coward and a fool would choose the former !
This runner is indefensible and the sooner he's off the scene the better for everyone and don't forget to take your ridiculous little band of fools with you.

He won 1 decent fight and has called out Khan since then as a full time job. Khan has 10+ marquee fights under his belt. If you're going to hand a guy a bag of money like that just because he asked you to, you'll want the vast majority of the cut.
Only problem with this is that Khan is the CHALLENGER not the Champion. Surely Brook deserves some reward for having gone to US and beaten Porter?

If Khan wants this fight/believes he can win then he should have his manager call Hearn and take the 60/40 deal. It is more than he will get for getting KO'd (again) if Garcia wins tonight!

He's one of many champions and he won the belt in a fairly low profile fight then did nothing with it. A paper title is just not that much of a bargaining chip when you don't have wins and nobody knows who you are.

I believe the champion deserves a fair deal.

Khan has done nothing at all of note since DG beat him senseless.

He has not held at title in 5 years.

The only reason Khan is still a name is because of his ******ed tweets and calling out Floyd, basically begging for a fight.

                  55/45 or 60/40.

Khans ego is ridiculous, I think he suffered brain damage during the Garcia fight to be honest.

You obviously don't know what a paper title is.

Khan da money maker. Rollin in da benjamins.

Making 900k dollars in his last fight yet demands 15million to fight Brook

Absolutely embarrassing how much he's ducking it.
