Golovkin is promoted horribly by a terrible company K-2 which is a big stinky mess. K2 couldn't promote a circus and is a clown act. GGG has lost millions by the inept promoters and his manger is terrible also. Sad to see a talented fighter like GGG going to waste without ever yet at 33 ever meeting a great opponent. Same with little rodent sized mini kid Rigo who after disposing of Donaire had his meager career get flushed away. But GGG has been managed and promoted terribly which is a crime.

i wont lie rigo is boring is some bouts..his last one was terrible and maybe 3 other ones..but the fact that i know he's one of the greats makes me respect him..he's not boring like klitchko..he's not bigger that everyone and hold he's actually 125lbs in the ring compared to others being 135 and he's breaking their faces...and in big time fifghts i dont care about the action i want to see who turns out to be the best..and they have to go through him to prove thatComment

Best of luck to him, but it's about much more than changing styles. It's not fair, but Rigo needs to be willing to concede just about everything and do **** he doesn't want to do and fight much more often. He needs to keep himself relevant however the hell he has to.
If he won't do that, then he's not going to get the fights he is looking for and nothing will change.
it's unfair when you're in a state run boxing school and fighting as an amateur, but that's not what he's doing. he works for promotors and networks who are trying to make money.
people wtach boxing to be entertained. promotors put on fights to make money. the ship sinks when people aren't entertained.Comment

Sorry but he has a point, what you said sounds so childish and you seem like a casual fan.
The guy is a pure boxer but unfortunately seems to be given a hard time because his lack of entertainment for the casual fan.
I agree that rigo needs to make sacrifices to he can get the fans and the fights.

rigo's style is entirely built upon countering, so naturally the quality of his fights is heavily dependent on the opponent. he should learn to be more aggressive against clearly outmatched opponents like the last guy, but he just needs to continue to do what he does best when he's got a real challenger in front of him
is rey vargas still on the cards for his next fight? i'd like to see him become mandatory for the both the WBC and the WBA, to reduce his chances of being frozen out again
another good post, definitely some truth in thatComment
