Bob wanted it, but Pac didn't. Bob was ready to let one star go to create another, but I'm sure Pacs people advised Pac not to after coming off a loss

      You are making my point.

You see it as a 50/50 fight. Bradley/Manny isn't a 50/50 fight. If this isn't Manny's last fight, you want to make sure the next one will sell so put him in with an easier opponent than a 50/50 one.

Aaahh come on man lol. Wtf u talking abt. Tim lost and started to act dumblike he won the fight easy. Beating Manny decisively would help hom to become a star.

Stop acting dumb man... im sure u smarter than that...

I dont know what they thinking but a win over a overt the hill Pac would have boost his popularity. Looked what happened to Floyd and Manny when they beat a washed up delahoya.

At this point, Crawford would have a chance.

I find it so fun to read the comments of all theses people here that think Crawford and Manny Pacquiao are not in the same league. Floyd Mayweather, who consider Pacquiao the toughest test to date, even said that he think Crawford could beat Manny Pacquiao, but that he should be careful because of his power. Pacquiao knows who Crawford is. Arum showed him some videos of Crawford, Khan and Bradley in order to choose his opponent (and Arum was reportedly pushing Pacquiao to choose Crawford)

Stylewise, Crawford is a very very bad fight for Pacquiao. First he will probably fight him southpaw, wich gave Manny some problems before. Then he's the best counterpuncher here at 140, wich will suit perfectly Manny aggressive style. Also, people here say Power of Pacquiao is too much, but precision beat power, and timing beat speed. I think Crawford would adjust to Pacquiao, he would have that timming and precision advantage. Easy fight at the end of the day, just a bigger stepstone

                Win or lose, Pac retires.

Crawford can then focus on Bradley.

It's on boxing scene. Bob said that he wanted the fight with Crawford. He said that Pac wanted the best available opponent which he thought was Crawford. Pac didn't want khan even after giving up more money to make the fight which makes me believe that he was getting the best of Pac in training which is why Pac people wanted them to stop training after he became a threat.

Word got out about Bradley which they received backlash so they tried to fought Broner. Bob said hell no which in the next 2 days the Bradley fight was announced. This tells me that Pac or his people wanted no part of Crawford which I understand being that he was coming off a loss and that Crawford was probably the most dangerous opponent. BUT HE WANTED THE BEST AVAILABLE DOE

GGG is white and white fighters are in great demand in America and worldwide in boxing. Crawford is a typical poor uneducated black kid fighting to get a break in a tough world. GGG gets all the attention while a kid like Crawford gets little attention and is just as good as GGG is. White seems right and black can lack. That's the world we live in.

Crawford gets dragged into a firefight and gets tagged end of story.
