LOL solid point. Fury is the champion (& nearly every other division as a "the champion"). Everyone else holds a paper title or a lesser piece of the HW title pie in actual titles or acclaim.
You can talk about lineal or undisputed or unified, but all of those terms mean less then they ever have & you just gotta use some common sense & fairness these days in determining who "the champion" is. And its not really even that difficult to determine Fury to be the champion at HW cuz he's beaten a decade long title holder & Wilder is having even-ish fights with ex-soccer hooligans & the other "champion" gots a title from somehow being ranked highly be a abc group despite his best wins being over journeymen & a guy having a unfortunately timed knee injury.Comment

Fres Oquendo????!!! How the hell did they come up with that? There must've been a transaction of money involved with that decision.
I was hoping for Ortiz/Ustinov to fight Chagaev/Brown, but just seeing Ortiz get his shot quickly is good enough for me.
I look forward to their MW tournament.Comment

****** tournament. They should be fighting each other and Fury shouldn't be involved until the last bout.Comment

Fury is meant to be in the middle and all fights should lead to him. He shouldn't be starting off against Ortiz, he needs to fight Chagaev or whoever got the other paper belt. A very ****** format of a tournament.Comment
