there is a court order forcing the WBA to match up chagaev & oquendo.

It's highly unlikely the second stage of that tournament comes to fruition or does so any time soon. When the Joshua, Wilder and Haye money is on the table, Fury will be kept busy for quite some time.

I love the idea of Fury Vs Ortiz. I think though, should he beat Wlad, that Fury will head off in the other direction and face Wilder or Haye.

Fury already signed to make a VOLUNTARY defense against Klitschko.

After that, his WBA mandatory will be the WBA interim champion, whoever that may be.

His next mandatory after that would be against the WBA world champion, whoever that may be.

There are absolutely no eliminators involved in any of this.

Please explain why you so consistently read or hear something and then come to a conclusion that has absolutely nothing to do with what you read or heard.

Honest question, is English not your first language? Would explain a lot.

              What an utterly pointless idea.

WBA started this multi-belt nonsense in the first place, so they get to live with the consequences. What they don't get to do is dictate to the champ (who no one at all is in doubt about) who he has to fight for the next year and a half for the clarification of a situation which they themselves created, and which no one cares a toss about anyway.

One potential upside of the ludicrous brackets: Fury gets to have two great wins on his resume before the big money fight with Deontay. If he wants to screw the WBA he should remain in this whack ass tournament long enough to reach the finals then get himself stripped and go after Wilder. Don't give those corrupt fools any cut of the profits for the honour of defending their toilet paper belt. Make them go the way of the IBF.

              Fres Oquendo. FFS.

Fury 4 the win just loves to whine and moan, whether it makes any sense or not.

The WBA isn't forcing Fury to do anything other than face the interim & regular champions as his future mandatories when those mandatories happen to be due.

They aren't forcing Fury to fight Klitschko. That fight was already set.

Normally Fury would have to face Chagaev and then after he beats Chagaev, Ortiz would be upgraded to regular champion and would face Fury a year or two later.

But there is a US court order preventing Fury from facing Chagaev, so he instead will face Ortiz when his mandatory is due and then face Chagaev later on.

But hey, you're a Fury fanboy and love to complain. Hope you enjoy.
