    Golovkin better not underestimate Canelo

Don't get me wrong I still see GGG winning but it will be a hard fought battle. Canelo has a very good jab, the reach advantage, underrated defense, and a really solid chin.

It's not in GGG's interest to let this fight go to the scorecards, unless he knocks Canelo down a couple of times, because he could end up getting robbed.

As a big GGG fan I concede that Canelo is worthy of being in the P4P and GGG isn't. He doesn't have the level of opposition in his resume because Sergio, Quillen, and Cotto ducked him.

Golovkin is a true professional who is always in shape and trains like an animal for bouts against lesser fighters than Canelo. This will be the biggest fight of his life. There is no chance he will underestimate Canelo. I doubt he would get robbed either. When Golovkin hits guys, even with jabs, their heads snap back and they show a look of concern. When he goes to the body, it has a unique sound. I can't see the judges missing his work.

Canelo would be GGG's biggest fight. He should be in the best shape of his career. I'll be more worried about him over training.

I don't think Golovkin would underestimate any opponent.

I'm starting to switch sides on this issue.

I'm not necessarily sure Canelo will ever take the fight.

He's talking about fighting Pacquiao, ffs.

GGG and Canelo are my two favorite fighters. It will be a great fight for most fans but not for me. I will be worried that either one of them takes a bad loss. They have been my favorites for many years. They are both serious dedicated pros and they will be in top condition. They have sparred many rounds with each other and they are friends. They both know how good the other one is. I think Canelo has the best chance of any boxer who fights at 160 pounds or less to beat GGG. I expect GGG to win because he is the best middleweight in the world. Canelo might be the first boxer in many years to go the full distance with GGG. He has a great chin as you said. He was staggered by Cotto's hard punching brother when he was a teenager. No boxer has ever staggered Canelo since then including Cotto, Mosley, Lara, Angulo and Kirkland. GGG will, of course be the hardest puncher Canelo has ever faced. Nobody has ever hurt GGG so far.

                Rightfully so, I would say.

Sergio: Past his prime. He just wanted a retirement fund.
Cotto: Too small, even the boogeyman himself said so.
Quillin: I never thought much of him, despite the (previous) hype.

The boogeyman should find a live body somewhere. None in the 160 (and Canelo doesn't like the number 160!). I'm a Canelo fan but that's a biittchh move.

The Johnson fight interests me too. I wanna see that. But, De Gale or Dirrel at 168 (or Ward, dare I say), would be nice.

I had a lot of faith canelo would fight him because he hasnt backed dow from anyone and I believe he truly wants to be great.

But as soon as I heard the excuses about weight, etc etc, i realized we were seeing s repeat of the excuses everyone else has when it comes to GGG.

The entire boxing world runs from this man.

Lara isn't running...he might have a death wish but he seems willing to fight GGG.
