Comments Thread For: Eddie Hearn: David Haye vs. Anthony Joshua is Inevitable

Former two-division world champion David Haye (27-2, 25KOs) is back in the mix after being out of the ring for over three years.

He returned to the ring on Saturday night with a first round destruction of Australian top ten heavyweight contender Mark De Mori.

Yes, by the end of this year it should happen. Why wouldn't joish be ready? Hayes had 4 years out! Josh beat many experienced fighters, sprott, Skelton and recently Kevin Johnson. Experience obviously don't help too much or is overrated! If you are good enough you are experienced enough! Hayes only had 20 something fights so how much experience did he have when he won his titles, probably not much?
Haye was good enough and so is josh.

Josh said he would like to fight haye more than fury or anyone? Let's see if he means that? He had better hurry because someone might beat haye and beat josh to it.

Later this year is plenty of time.

          Awful matchup for Joshua

Haye gets a lot of crap but any fighter who doesn't posses excellent defence is going to have a bad time if they fight him

David Haye will absolutely smoke Joshua with his speed and output. If you thought Joshua was sucking in the big one's after 2 rounds with Whyte he will have to be fitted with a defibrillator halfway through the 1st round with Haye.

This is the thing. If Haye can make Joshua miss and keep out his way, then I see Joshua walking onto something nasty & getting sparked clean out. There is a good reason Haye is so keen to promote and talk his way into this fight ASAP, he's all about massively calculated moves.

Agreed. He has let Fury's insults pass and seems to be gunning directly for Joshua. Haye is a canny businessman, he knows what he is doing in going after Joshua so hard.

All it will take is one punch from josh to ko haye, he's good at finding target is our josh.
We don't know how good haye is noew after4 years out. He couldnt train for years so josh must have caught up. Josh potential is off the scale.
He was beating fury up in sparring. He's ready now people have been saying for s while now and haye is only a contender, surely josh is ready for a contender? Is haye ready is the question.? Hayes willing to take the risk to find out!
