If this happens to you, you should probably STFU about punching power....

Wow guys, this is insane! He knocks out a guy who probably outweights him by 30+ pounds! It must mean he has insane power!

No but seriously, getting caught flush on the chin with a perfect power shot doesn't mean you have insane power.

Real power is something like Foreman for example--- when you don't need to land perfect shots to knock someone down or out.

Golovkin is an example of what Wilder did last night. He's not the hardest puncher, IMO., but instead, has fantastic accuracy and timing.

Szpilka isn't saying Wilder can't punch, but if you see Wilder's KO of Liakovich and the likes he himself probably expected to be put down early in the fight instead he took some heavy shots without being hurt. Szpilka had obviously over estimated the effect Wilder's power would have on him. Let's not forget Artur walked in to the KO punch and AGAIN this isn't to say Wilder can't punch.

              Sergei Liakovich.

I think that was worse than this because unlike Szpilka, Liakovich didn't walk in to the punch, but took it while standing, hands up high and of course how he was shaking after falling on the ground, which was quite disturbing man.

Wilder went 9 rounds with Molina, who Arreola knocked out in 1 round.

He took many of Wilder's shots well but also almost died in the ring. I think being laid out and leaving the ring on a stretcher (even if precautionary) means Wilder has top notch power.

Wilder's issue is being able to land high quality punches rather than his punching power.

Wilder has speed and power, but not much else. Szpilka didn't even deserve to be fighting for a world title and he was still cracking Wilder hard enough to stun him repeatedly. As soon as a top class opponent who can match his size, he's done. Szpilka couldn't even catch him with a flush power punch and he still stunned Wilder.
