Deontay is a hard puncher. You can see the snap in them. He might not be like a Mike Tyson or Lennox Lewis, but he got the gift.

So this idiot must have expected to be unconscious for 6 minutes not just 5.

Cans or not u do not knock out 97% of men you hit if you don't punch hard. Y'all are wylin talkin like Wilder doesn't hit hard. Spilled-ka just did a good job of moving his head and Wilder caught him a lot with the end of his punches. Wasn't cracking him with shots like the one that ended the fight and look what happened when the flush one DID land. Lights out.

Nah, I agree with Artur. When he saw them coming, he ate quite a few of Wilder's rights and laughed in his face.

Getting caught by a punch he didn't see coming doesn't mean Wilder's punches are destructive.

If it was a run of the mill KO because he wasn't expecting the punch and he was counted out but managed to get to his feet then yeah you could say he doesn't hit very hard, but the guy was out cold for 8 minutes and HE WAS HURT before that, it was just bravado on Szpilka's part.

The problem is when Wilders looking for the KO he can't get it. When he just lets his hands go he's extremely dangerous. You guys also have to know by now the punches you don't see coming are the ones that hurt the most. Look at Trinidad vs Mayorga. Trinidad is considered by many boxing fans to be one of the hardest hitting welterweights of all time. Even though it was fought at 158 by that time, Trinidad had already proven he was hitting just as hard at the weight. Mayorga stuck his chin out and let Trinidad hit him with his money shot and took it like it was nothing. Later on the punch he didn't see coming put him down and ended the fight.

Bro stop, getting KOed for 5 minutes does not equal getting caught by a punch you didn't see coming. He did get caught by a punch he didn't see, but he was also severely concussed by a very hard punch.
