Tyson Fury: "Deontay Wilder Is A Bum Who Got Lucky" - Agree Or Disagree?

Fury keeps saying that Wilder is a bum who got lucky, and someone who he'll beat with considerable ease. Apart from his victory against an allegedly unconditioned and overweight Stiverne it could be said that Wilder is yet to prove himself against a high level opponent.

The Stiverne win is unfortunately riddled with questions: How good is Stiverne in reality, he won a vacant title against no more than a B-level fighter in Arreola, and it was a rematch too so Stiverne already knew how to beat him.

Against Wilder, Stiverne dropped his nutritionist thinking he had enough nutritional knowledge to handle it but it backfired and resulted in him showing up in poor condition for Wilder. As a self-confessed food enthusiast, he'd already been feasting for over 6 months celebrating his title win against Arreola and then to drop his nutritionist for his first defence was a fatal mistake but of course it was lucky for Wilder.

So question is, do you think Wilder is a legitimate A-level elite fighter, is he just an average fighter, or is he a bum who got lucky?

Sorry it's not Wilders fault Stiverne lacked discipline ..You think when you win the HW title discipline should be common sense ..

Wilders not a perfect fighter but he's better than a shot Wlad who can't pull the trigger anymore.

Wilder's not a bum and Fury knows that. He's just **** talking.

Yeah, I think Fury beats Wilder but who really knows until the fight happens?
Wilder is better than many people want to admit. He's got some flaws but which fighter doesn't? I think he's come a long way.

If Wilder is a bum then he has a helluva lotta great luck.

I think Szpilka was winning the fight but there's nothing lucky about throwing a punch and having it land.

Bum who got lucky? That would be that Martin guy. He was lucky to even get that shot then his opponent basically KO'd himself. Ridiculous luck.

Wilder is decent. Needs polishing. I like him for lots of reasons. His power, his size, but I like his story. From nothing to something. Driven by his love for his daughter.

I loved the beating he put on Stiverne. Poetic.

Let's see if he can dominate his division... Can he be a King???

              This is what is unknown!!!

I think Deontay has A-Level potential but isn't there yet, even as a champion with 3 defenses. He certainly isn't a bum though and all that Stiverne stuff is irrelevant.

If and when Wilder and Fury fight, I'll definitely be pulling for Wilder, but right now I would favor Fury to win, yet not be surprised if Wilder got the KO

There's been signs of slippage for a while now. I said it after the Jennings fight. Wlad was always a safe fighter. But it's more than that now. He looked scared against Fury.

that I agree with, once a fighter lose the courage to pull the trigger its a fast down hill, im interested in the rematch to see whats really up, but most likely its over for wlad but one thing I love about boxing you still have to fight the fights to prove it.
