Comments Thread For: Wilder-Fury an Immense Fight Down The Line, DiBella Says

A collision between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury would make sense anyway given that Fury is the lineal heavyweight champion and holds two major world titles while Deontay Wilder has a third. But it makes even more sense given how much more marketable both fighters would make it — and have already been making it.

If both of them can get past their next fights it sets up a huge showdown between them.

It's doubtful either of them will win their mandatory fights much less both of them.

Stop lying, just more bums for Wilder, retires 50-0 never facing a real HW

Better chance of Wlad beating Fury than Povetkin beating Wilder imo.

Used to like DiBella because he was hungry to give you good fights. Now that he's got a steady income loaning out his promoter license that hunger seems like its gone.

                  ?

In this article DiBella is talking about wanting to make Wilder-Fury. You don't think that is a good fight?

Of course I do, but the caveat of "down the line" is problematic for me. Dibella knows what it's like to be the odd man out getting reamed by the commissions, to see him now trying to meld into part of the problem is troublesome. I would much prefer to hear terms like "as soon as possible" when it comes to fights, down the road doesn't bode well for the fight fans.
