Can't disagree wth that. But is this some kind of moral victory? Lol khan hasn't even done anything since then or since Garcia knocked his screw loose

      Khan last fought Chris Algieri.

Chris Algieri beats Berto, Rios, Collazo and obviously Gavin.

So essentially, it goes without saying at this point, Khan's last opponent was superior to the last opponents of every welterweight title holder. Every single one.

      So there we have it.
      Floyd beat Berto easy

Thurman beat Collazo easy but did get hurt momentarily in that fight

      Brook beat Gavin easy

Bradley beat and stopped Rios easy

Khan went life and death with Algieri

Nonsense to say that Algieri would beat them all. They have to get in the ring to determine that

ruslan? That ain't saying much considering many people felt he lost.

Algeri is a espn fighter who got a razor close decision in a title fight against provodnikov.

he never even made a defense of the title.

Algeri is just another guy, and every since 2012 so is khan

        Diaz
        Molina
        Collazo
        Alexander
        Algieri

just ain't good enough for a guy who believes he is elite
A question that always seems to go unanswered. Algieri has never beaten a single top contender at 147 but he's "better" than those that have.

          What? lol

Algieri is a 147 pounder, he has only ever fought one fighter at exactly 140 and that's Provodnikov. Every other fight he had was over 140, usually by at least a few pounds... His very first fight was at 148 which makes it a junior middleweight fight...

I'd agree with most but Bradley also beat Jessie Vargas last year and Rios was a good name, just he didnt train properly for that fight but thats not Bradleys fault.

Why wouldn't you count Brook's belt?

Also Rios, Collazo, Berto have fought and competed at a higher level than Algieri for sure.

                Exactly. Makes little sense.

Peterson fight Berto (Algieri > Berto)
Thurman fighting Porter (Porter > Algieri)
Brook fighting Bizier (Algieri > Bizier)
                  Ail fighting Vargas (Vargas/Algieri even)
What has Algieri done to prove he's better than Guerrero and Berto?

The belt is only as good as who competes for it. Brook fighting Jo Jo Dan and Frankie Gavin basically cancel out the value of that belt almost entirely, it devalues the title and makes it a joke. On top of that it's the IBF which is garbage to begin with anyway so that's 2 major factors which render the title as good as toilet paper.

None of those guys are beating Algieri, and none of them competed at a higher level since Algieri fought Khan who is almost certainly the best welterweight on the planet, Pacquiao who is the 3rd best welterweight (and former p4p number 1/2) and Provodnikov who was a 140 champ.

                      That's beyond ******ed.

How can the belt "cancel" because he fights his mandatories?
