Doesn't seem long ago he was all the rage, just got pushed to one side when Amir Khan came along at the Olympics.

But Khan gave the best amateur of recent times a close fight at 17 years old,he deserved damn attention.

Its really tough fighting that often. Well, not so tough to fight that often but rather hard to get fights that stick through until the first bell. I wanted to fight alot when I was rolling and it always something to stop it. I had these guys calling me for fights, fights where I was going to go to their home state and fight. Rocky Martinez and me must have been matched atleast 3 or 4 times to go. First we agreed at 147. Train for the month and then a week or 2 before the fight they say that they want me at 140, not 147. I say no way.
So the next month were lkined again at like 145 or something. Train for the month and then get a call that they dont want that and so on. Its a tough business even when you are ready and prime to fight. Good luck though Mystal2k5,you never know your luck may be different with it. Just always be inshape and ready to roll the minute the phone call comes in because you may have only minutes to get to the arena to fight or you make $0 that month. Train hard, kick some ass and bring the pride back to the boxing scene to share with us. We'll be with you in your corner, spiritually ofcourse.

Oh and Bute and Froch would easily beat Beyer, at their best. And they'd both beat Kessler, too. Jurgen Brahmer would beat every SMW other than Joe C.

Froch just needs to stop using weights, because their slowing him down like ****.
