You obviously don't realise that he had an extremely serious and well documented shoulder injury that required major surgery

Why the **** would he have been scared of Fury?

The guy cant knock the top off a custard and Haye was a heavy favourite

Joshs fight against Whyte tells me that. Haye would have knocked him out that night.

Sports people do actually get injured, in fact it happens all the time.

Yep Aussies are a weak lot of sissies and wimps no men in Australia. Rigo would have taken out DeMori.

Josh has the power to ko haye. Josh is ready for haye now. Haye has had 3 years out. Experience can't count for that much. Otherwise some of the guys josh ko'ed would have lasted longer

Have v josh should be made by e d of this year

That step back, counter right hand was beautifully done. Timed perfectly and done with speed and power. Those shots hurt anyone.

That could be true, but I think that is largely irrelevant.

It's not about just being faster than the other guy, it is about having the speed necessary to compliment your style.

A drop in speed will not benefit Haye, no matter how much extra power he has, and no matter how fast/slow his opponent is.

He needs to have enough speed to facilitate his style, especially considering the fact that he is short and his style is so reliant on speed/reflexes.

He needs to lose that extra weight and focus on his speed/timing/reflexes.

                  No he's not.

Lemieux had power, was he ready for Golovkin ?

Joshua is an outstanding prospect, possibly even better than my boy Parker, but there are levels to this game.

I agree that it's a perfect time to jump on Haye if you are ready/able.

                  It counts for everything.

Lemieux had power but he just isn't as good as josh with that potential and josh has much more going for him than lemieux. You heard what wlad said about josh! Plus GGG is p4p the best in the world haye isn't quite on that level and he's had 4 years out, so we dont know what level Haye is at as well.. Lemieux will never be ready for GGG because he just isn't good enough! So your comparisons aren't valid

Experience doesn't count for everything. Otherwise Kevin Johnson might have lasted longer against josh, same as Skelton and sprott. If you are good enough you are old enough. Of course josh will get better with experience but nobody knows right now if he could beat haye or if haye with all his experience can win.

That's why the fight will happen at the end of this year

Watched the fight again. Haye looks pretty menacing with that extra 15lbs of solid muscle. He looks like a real HW now not a blown up cruiserweight. He looks like he still can throw rapid fire combos with power. he was throwing 4 or 5 punches at a time. He threw a solid 1-2 then a 3 punch jab, left hook & a right. Overhand right, left hook, right hook to the body & he did that twice. Then 5 punches thrown on the knockout with the straight right & left uppercut landing while he was going down. No HW can throw those combinations with that kind of speed & power. He will probably take a better punch with the added muscle too. I hope he stays healthy because he will make the division deeper & he is a real threat to anyone ahead of him in the rankings. He had huge legs & looks so much sturdier then when he was 210. I don't think many fighters will be lining up to fight him. Fury tried twice & I understand him if he is skeptical because of the 2 cancellations but somebody will have to fight him if they want to become champion. He had a nice crowd at the O2 so he still has drawing power.
