How is it a tune up fight if it's a top 10 ranked opponent with more wins, the same amount of losses, and more KO's? Even if he has a weaker resume, I can hardly call that a tuneup, and I can't stand the fraud Haye, so don't think I am defending him...

He's ranked 106 by boxrec and hasn't fought anyone noteworthy... so I think that sums it up.

That was a great finish. He looked quick and sharp but I'd have prefered to see him go a few rounds....WELCOME BACK!!!

In the OP it said he was ranked #10 though. And im sure without checking his resume has no real notable names, but what elite wins does Haye have under his belt?? I didn't even know who he was as a cruiserweight, but he ducked Fury, and got shut out by Wlad. Who has he really beaten?

Well, it was as expected. A fight to shake off the rust somewhat.
I'm glad to see Haye back.

What was the purpose of that opponent? He gave Haye no work what so ever? He simply came in to be KO'd. It does nothing for Haye. Haye by the way looked really slow.

He looked much bigger then I'm use to seeing at 227...

That was quick. Some saying he looked slow? That straight right & a left hook & chopping right (close to back of head) combination was thrown pretty quickly from what I saw. We all knew de Mori had a generous #10 WBA rating from a regional trinket & would be done quickly. He was carefully selected because of that rating I'm sure. Now Haye is in the top 10 of the WBA. Look at the guys in front of him in the WBA. Oquendo, Chagaev, Briggs, Browne & Klitschko. If Haye's shoulder holds up he will be in the title picture or in an eliminator by his next fight. He could have one more fight before a title shot or eliminator. You can never count out a guy like David Haye like him or not.

What a pointless fight. Mori clearly came just to try and survive, i counted him throw 5 punches, not landing a single one.
What does David Haye achieve by this besides fooling the public in to wasting there money buying tickets for a mismatch blow out.
proves nothing, didnt do nothing for ring rust, his sparring partners must have gave him more of a workout then this guy. Still has power, but that was expected as last thing boxers lose is there punch.
Just another money making farce for haye like when he fought audley.

Hope De Mori pulls thru ok. The only name I recognized from his record was a draw with Leapai on Leapai's debut fight. So obviously we can't take much away from this fight. Would be great though to see how he stands up to Joshua.
