Great counter right over the jab. DeMori didn't seem to have much of a plan other than maybe survive the first round. Yet, he kept his hands low and backed straight up a lot. You have to give a guy angles. Haye looked very sharp.

I'd like to see De Mori fight David Price next.

          50/50 fight 😀

agreed. nice counter, although it's easy to look sharp against a mediocre opponent

Haye needs to lose some weight. He looks slow. He has no chance against Fury/Joshua if he can't get that speed back.

Sylvester stallone is on the jonathan ross show right now. The point is even todays stallone would have put up a better fight against haye than this aussie bum.

Too short a fight to really evaluate a whole lot but I'm not putting a lot of stock in this bulky, flat-footed Haye. Would be a even fight w/ Joshua, but isn't ready for Fury (though he would have beat Fury 2-3 years ago).
My thoughts exactly. He still has decent hand speed and power, but he looked too heavy (even slight moobs), and his footwork is gone. I also agree that he would struggle with fury nowadays.

True. However, after a 3-year layoff, I cut him some slack and believe me. I don't even like the guy. Haha. But yes. I don't think Mr. Australia fought anybody with a pulse before this. Bad strategy and tailor made for Haye.
