Nobody is gonna avoid Canelo though, he can literally fight the BEST available if he wanted to. He'll need to if he's gonna continue fighting on PPV.

Canelo still have to Maintain good PPV Numbers regardless of who he fights like Pacquiao and Mayweather was able to do for years before declaring him "The Star Of Boxing".

But Canelo is a boxing star, he's not a crossover star, and more importantly he's not a star in the nation he fights in. Average Americans aren't the major Canelo fans, just the hispanic/latino populations.
