Lara is a top level fighter, is calling for the fight and would be by far the best pro that Golovkin has shared a ring with. When you're fighting the likes of Monroe, the 'not a draw' excuse doesn't fly.
Who has Lara beaten to justify that statement?

Paul Williams is better than anyone on GGG's resume.

If you are going to count robberies as wins, then Martin Murray is at least as good as Lara, because he "beat" Martinez - who KO'd Williams - and Sturm.

Murray was very, very unlucky not to get the win against Abraham in his last fight too.

Williams beat Martinez too and actually got the nod.

Martin Murray has never and will never be as good as Paul Williams. And if you believe the Martinez that KO'd Williams is the same injury prone fighter as the one that fought Murray, you're wrong.

The reaching with you guys is insane.

The SERIOUS discussions, most definitely did.

Mayweather and Pacquiao agreed to meet after the game, and they ultimately united at Pacquiao’s hotel room.

There, Pacquiao expressed how serious he was to strike a deal, and Mayweather showed his sincerity by placing an after-midnight phone call to Haymon in front of Pacquiao, telling the manager he wanted the deal, according to fight officials.

Mayweather said after beating Marcos Maidana for a second time in September he began leaning toward a Pacquiao fight.

“I thought about my investments, I said I can make this in two fights, or make [all] this for a fight right here,” Mayweather said, prompting another call to Haymon, in which he said, “Al, make the fight happen.”.

Maybe you didn't follow the proceedings too closely, but Bob Arum had been blocking that fight for years. And most boxing insiders/matchmakers know why.

Pac had been listening to Arum, who was filling his head with bull****.

That meeting cleared the air and opened up some MEANINGFUL dialogue that eventuated in that fight being signed THREE WEEKS LATER.

I will say again, in case you missed the point...... that fight was signed THREE WEEKS LATER.

Good luck thinking that is a coincidence.

And yet, they do, all the time..... so, you are wrong.....

Here, I will provide the proof for you one more time.

The basketball meeting was staged to garner attention. I don't see how a grown man can truly believe it wasn't. The fight was in serious discussions well before that. I mean do you still believe in Santa Clause? The Easter Bunny? It's called advertising, companies and businesses do it all the time.

And like I said Lara and GGG will be seriuosly discussed over phone or in person. I couldn't care less that David Haye found his last opponent on Twitter. Is you want to talk to Loeffler you call not tweet.

Lara losing to Paul Williams is a better win than any on Golovkin's record .... and I'm reaching!

              Man, this is funny stuff.

Dominating win over Trout, schooling of Paul Williams, toss-up fight with Canelo...

What has any Golovkin opponent got that matches that?

                  That's 2 defeats and 1 win over a B level SWW.

And Canelo vs Lara was NOT a fight.

                  Keep reaching boys.

                  • Man one year of tweeting. This useless Decubas guy most likely hasn't even talked to Haymon. He and Lara should just admit they're just bull****ting around. If you want a fight you do something about it, not just tweet.

He schooled Williams, that's not up for dispute. Also, Lara/Canelo was much more of a fight than Wlad/Fury.

Much like Murray should have got the W against the crippled version of Sergio.

As I said, far better than anyone Golovkin has faced.
