We agree on that but someone has to be "top" or "A-level" fighters and i prefer using "elite". Thats all but i do agree with youComment

Let's all ignore that this is politically impossible right now
Then we can complain the fight isn't happen, and put blame squarely on GGG.
GGG makes fighters look tailor made. Monroe was supposed to be a big challenging style.
I guess the guy who wrote this post is a GGG fan. Here was his excuse:
"Lara (22-2-2, 13KOs), who has the WBA's junior middleweight title, is willing to face Golovkin at the full middleweight limit of 160-pounds. More than anything else, politics are preventing that fight from taking place. Lara is advised by Al Haymon. Golovkin is an HBO fighter. And HBO has not done business with Haymon in years. Adding to that, Lara has a very difficult style and his tactics, depending on the opponent, are not always friendly on the eyes."

Exactly. I feel the same. I will not bash GGG if he never fights Lara because Lara really killed his reputation and brand in that Canelo fight. Most fighters win or lose if the fight was close against a superstar your fanbase increases. Well Lara is the rare case where the opposite happened. He technically lost a close fight but the way in which he fought (more accurate ran) and stunk up the joint has really turned fans off. And it's evident in his fights since which have draw horrendous tv ratings and even worse live attendance hell his last fight was fought in front of like 100 fans around a rainy tent. It will be a hard sell to get fans to want to see him again. The stink from the Canelo fight will follow him for a long time and maybe the rest of his career. If he ran in the Canelo fight why would anyone think he will not do the same against GGG? Who wants to see that crap? That's the stigma that is around Lara's neck right now. There is NO upside in any big name fighting Lara and he has no one to blame but himself. He brings no fans to the table and even if you win you won't look good doing it because it will be a ugly fight. Had he showed some balls and actually fought Canelo even if he got knocked the F out his fanbase would of grown from that fight. For example mark my words Kirkland will get a big fight this year before Lara does.Comment
