I doubt it man. GGG is way better at chasing down runners, and last thing you wanna do against him is shell up on the ropes. Really doubt he goes the distance, or wins more than one slow round, with his meager output

To Lara's credit, he runs but doesn't clinch. He gets trapped on the ropes and just lets the opponent hammer away to the side of his body. And that's the most dangerous thing you don't wanna do against a guy like Golovkin.

Only reason why they avoid runners is because they're boring. They refuse to sing to the tune. They're not good dance partners. They don't bring money to the table. There's no excitement, no money, bad for business, bad for the purse.

Name one fighter who ducked Lara? Molina, Smith, Martirosyan, Angulo, all wanted a rematch, and Lara said no. Andrade stalked him like he's a celebrity and Lara avoided Andrade like a plague. Believe me, if you're a fighter and made a name for yourself, you'll avoid them too. They're bad for business. Ask Floyd.

Funny part is Lara and Decubas are not even serious about 3G. Loeffler is just a few dials away and this Decubas guy is too scared to call. He talks tough but too scared to call Loeffler.
Scared as far as not looking good against that style which is what happened to Canelo

If they wasn't serious they wouldn't be calling him out, GGG is not big of a star yet to use his name for fame so I don't get this "Lara Is Not Serious" BS that some fans are trying to use. Not about the Money because Lara makes great money every time he fights regardless of who he fights. I think Lara does want to fight him but since GGG is HBO "Property" it is likely them telling him to ignore Lara

Moral lesson here is fans should not take callers seriously let alone based on a few lines of tweets. Take them seriously when you see them back it up by making simple calls to the management team of the one they're calling out. Otherwise, they're just bleh. Khan called out Floyd for years, even kept constant touch with Haymon. Does that mean Floyd ducked Khan?

Mind you, Lara called out Floyd too. What happened to that?

Nah, that is bull****, you completely made that up.

Both teams were openly discussing that fight..... yes the discussions were preliminary, and on twitter..... but they happened nonetheless.

            So, yea..... you're wrong.

The " discussion " from the Lara camp primarily centered around assurances that they would meet all of the demands made by Team Golovkin, and the "discussion" from the Golovkin camp primarily centered around excuses as to why that fight cannot happen..... culminating in words to this effect.

" we will not come down in weight "
            ~ Loeffler

" we will fight you at 160 "
            ~ DeCubas

            " on HBO " ?
            ~ Loeffler

            " ..... at 160..... on HBO..... in Kazakhstan "
            ~DeCubas

And that was pretty much the end of the discussion.

That is rubbish, matchmakers steer fighters away from the style that causes them the most problems..... and attempt to match them up with guys that play into their style.

Golovkin is avoiding the slick mover/spoilers, just like Pacquiao did according to Murad Muhammad.

Genady has ascended past physical combat. He's like the blind guy from Kung Fu, or Yoda, or Master Splinter. He's proven everything he needs to prove so no need to get his hands dirty. That legendary resume is proof. Don't see it?? Here, sip this special Kool Aid.

It makes no sense not to try and make this fight.

Lara is a top level fighter, is calling for the fight and would be by far the best pro that Golovkin has shared a ring with. When you're fighting the likes of Monroe, the 'not a draw' excuse doesn't fly.
