Eastcoast thinks that Ward aint good enough to land a Golovkin " payday ".

Ward is elite right now until proven otherwise. Ward dominated Smith in every round so I don't know what rust you were seeing.

I personally have to see him prove it again first before I can say that. I'm not one of those guys that's put people back at #1 or whatever after a 2-3 year retirement. Like when Floyd came back he wasn't automatically #1 again, he fought Marquez, an elite fighter and dominated. That put him back at #1 or #2 depending the list. I have no idea if Ward has something wrong with him, mentally or physically, that has made him want to fight such poor opposition. To me it hints that maybe he knows something isn't quite right and needs more time to get back up to par but that is pure speculation on my part. Maybe he's just being overly cautious, I don't know, but until I see him in the ring against a quality opponent I can't say one way or another.

As for the Smith fight I just said he looked rusty. Of course he dominated, it was Paul Smith, to me Ward was a bit off his game though, which is expected after a long layoff. It wasn't a criticism of Ward just an observation. I've watched every pro Ward fight and wasn't quite as sharp as he was in past fights.

ggg most likely demolishes lara in a few rounds, but there is a tiny little chance that he would not look good if this fight ever happens and apparently most of ggg's fans don't want to risk that, but hey, that's boxing nowadays
