They should strip this fraud champ first. It's only right, he admits he's not big enough to wear it

No world champion in the history of boxing has EVER refused to fight his mandatory challenger without a CW.

Canelo's popularity will plummet if GGG has to get the WBC to strip him of their belt over this.

And who is he going to fight next who would bring him as much money as GGG?

Mark my words, if Canelo ducks GGG and Golovkin becomes the undisputed MW champ, by the time Canelo can no longer make 155 and has to start fighting at the real MW limit, he will be lucky to get 30% of the purse if comes back trying to fight Golovkin again.
Please, the majority of people don't even know what belt Canelo or GGG currently hold. If Canelo decides to vacate and GGG picks up another interim strap good for him, only the most hardcore fans will even care. The two fan bases that matter for Canelo's PPV success, the Mexican fans and casual sports fans, won't even bat an eye.
GGG has 0 leverage now and it will get worse as time goes on and Canelo becomes an even bigger star. Take the fight and chase greatness or hold your ground and waste possibly the last big payday opportunity he is going to get. Its up to GGG.

It's not so much the belt, its the act of vacating to avoid the high profile mando/unified champ that's gonna catch the attention of the Mexican fans, and the few casuals that know Canelo. But he certainly needs to be stripped if he won't budge from 155, that's a disgrace for the record books

Nobody has adsked GGG to fight on the condition of a cw, so why does canelo feel he needs favours to beat GGG? Doesn't it take the gloss oof the win, and you only beat him cos of the cw! Anyone can beat GGG with a cw, even Floyd so what's the point?

A catchweight for 3 belts + lineal is bad enough, but 155 takes the cake. Who the fcuk does that, sets the max possible CW? Plus this fcuk weighs more than his opponent fight night lol. Canelo is a comedian

True, why does canelo need help to beat GGG when nobody else got any assistance . I'm sure Matthew Macklin, martin Murray or kassim ouma, victims of GGG would have liked some kind of a assistance to beat GGG but didn't ask cos they are too proud!. Does canelo think he's royalty or something I bet canelo gotbutlers at home and people assist him on putting his shoes and socks on and a chauffer!

He wants to be the first to beat GGG , but martin Murray and geale and leuimex laughing at canelo saying if we had the favours you got we would have beat him as well. So there's no point and no glory in it! If GGG beats canelo at 155 that makes a loss even worse.......couldn't even beat GGG with a cw!
So canelo will do the right thing and come to his senses.

I agree. I don't care about the money split, but I can never understand the catchtweight in Canelo's case.
