Not necessarily...I know a lot of Mexicans who hate Pacquiao and Filipino's in general. Of course some Mexican boxing fans show him respect, I mean he basically toyed with all of their "greats". He forced them to respect him.

Erik Morales has openly and repeatedly blasted Floyd. No respect there.

Marquez respects Floyd simply because he knows he had no chance of beating him. Thus why he told Manny he wouldn't beat him.

Barrera hates everyone. No hope there.

Robert Guerrero respects Floyd, unlike his dad.

De La Hoya's just butthurt because of Floyd's sombrero entrance.

Some Mexicans fighters, if you don't KO them, they have no respect for you. Others, like Barrera, it doesn't matter if you get stopped or not, you're just bitter at life.

PPV numbers say otherwise. Look at Mays opponents vs Pacs e.g. Saul, Marquez and ODLH then your Barerra, Morales and Marquez. More Mexican people tuned in to see Floyd fight whether he won or lost. So it's a fact Mayweather had/has more Mexican fans that M.Pacquiao is it not?

            Floyd Sr trained Erik once.

The two Mexicans who received training from Floyd's father hate him

Floyd vs Erik would have been the fight. Two ATG that were born into boxing families and are about the same size

Mexicans have no choice but to his him his respect. Manny fought all the mexican legends in his era, more than once too.

It was one of the greatest KO's ever, I predicted it too!

When Marquez knocked out Pacquiao Mexico celebrated, the president gave him a homecoming, that is how big Pacquiao was in Mexico, they had a great rivalry, he is still loved there.

It was worth considerably more than a 40 million flat fee.
