Mayweather is a great fighter but I don't see anything Mexican about him or the way he fights. I think most Mexican fans like GGG's style much better than Mayweather's style. GGG always attacks with no clinching or wrestling. He just comes forward throwing bombs behind a good jab and solid defense. His fights always end in a KO. That's what most Mexican fight fans and most fight fans like. Mayweather always wins but he seldom hurts anybody anymore and he doesn't get hurt.

Its funny you got floyd and ggg outright campaigning for that mexican viewership, and wanting it, but only one non mexican got the mexican fanbase without even campaigning or asking for it, that is pacquiao.

When Marquez put him to sleep, how much was that worth?

I'm a huge Manny fan, that KO basically sealed the immortality of the rivalry between JMm and Manny. They were born to fight each other and it showed in ALL of their fights. Why should there be any shame?

I always got the sense that Mexicans respected Floyd even if they don't embrace his fighting style. They definitely don't player hate to the degree American fans do.

It's interesting that Floyd mentions reading body language.

Good interview. Nice to see Floyd and Erik next to each other. Between the '4 Amigos' Erik had the frame size most suited to fighting Floyd

Floyd vs Erik @ 130 would have been a sight to see.

It's ironic because the Mexican interviewer was lobbying for Floyd to be the honorary Mexican on May 2nd 2015

Exactly, we Mexicans respect one thing above all and that being a man, we even boo our own people when they run and act like a bitch, our entire mentality is go and get it by any means necessary, we live it them copy catters trying to play to us all they do is talk it and try to glorify it as their own with talks but we walk it.
