Official: Charles Martin vs Vyacheslav Glazkov RBR Thread

Odds are very favourable for Martin over here.

I am also looking for an American on here to convince me he can win as I have never seen him. Glazkov looks a little undersized and doesn't seem to have a huge power relative to the heavyweight division

Yea I dig the Martin odds, but haven't seen enough of him to feel confident in betting on him. I have seen enough of Glazkov to know that he should have a couple L's already, but since Martin is of unknown value still I can't jump on it even doe I'd like to. There is a huge bump in level of opposition in Martin for this fight that I have no idea how he'll contend with either.

Maybe I'll check out a couple of Martin's fights on youtube & make a game time decision to throw something on him, but as of now I don't like what I've seen with Glazkov more than I like or know much of anything about Martin & thats nothing I'm going to bet on.

Nobody knows anything about Martin, it is basically Glazkov versus a mysterybox, it really comes down to Glazkov because he is the one with the info out there.

That Malik Scoot fight is pretty damning though, if you want reason to bet on Martin look at that fight.

It's ludicrous that a world heavyweight title is being contested and even hardcore boxing fans know next to nothing about one of the challengers and supposed favourite. I managed to find a highlight vid of Martin and suffice to say he doesn't look in the least bit impressive.



If Glazkov loses to this guy then he really needs to quit the sport as there's no future for him whatsoever.

I sent you the stream I'm on via karma. I'm not in the US but as far as I know both are on Showtime, no boxing on NBC today.

Well Martin could be really good, but who knows Glazkov has done alright against much better opposition. I don't really consider Martin the favorite I like his reach and height and the fact he is left handed but he is a total unknown.
