The WBC are a joke , some time back they put Khan s their no.1 contender (at this point a very much since) Khan had NEVER even fought a decent welterweight.
To then say the winner must fight Khan is a joke and as low as it can be , are they forgetting that Garcia has already taken Khan to pieces and knocked him TFO.
Khan is looking for every excuse in the book to avoid Brook knocking him senseless and he may just find a way to sneak out of it again by fighting another old or little or not quite there fighter then looking for a payday against properly Garcia ( but don't count Robert out !)
Brook for his part should just get on with his career and not make the mistake that Khan has waiting around for paydays.Put him down as a coward.

I think Garcia will be gifted the belt unless Guerrero KO's him.

Even if Khan is a mandatory, I still don't think Garcia will give him the re-match.

Angel Garcia has already stated this unequivocally and even if Danny says he will, Angel probably views Khan as too much of a risk to Danny's cherished '0'.

Finally I think Angel is the type of guy who would love to make Khan wait and squirm, just like Floyd did.

Garcia was the champion at 140 so can't begrudge him for getting a shot straight away however I don't believe Guerrero deserves it. Khan vs Garcia 2 should be fun.

This is nothing new...however they should have had Garcia vs Khan. Also this is equivalent to my other pet peevs like a "regular/interim" champion being elevated to super champion when the super championed vacates the title. As is the case w/ Floyd vacating his Super WBA title, and Keith Thurman being elevated to Super champion? GTFOH! Thurman should be fighting someone else for that title, titles should be won in the ring. This is why this crappy "regular/interim" title is bad for boxing, Thurman in all actualality is the #1 contender therefore he should be fighting #2 contender. This is improper. Atleast Garcia is fighting for the title in the ring.
