Why not a Round-Robin Tournament? Danny Garcia vs Robert Guerrero and Amir Khan vs Lamont Peterson II the winners of those fight meet for the WBC Welterweight Title! That make more sense based on WBC Recent Ranks. Instead of putting Khan in position to play things safe and take a easy fight because he has a Guaranteed shot at the WBC Strap next

Exactly. I kind of wanna laugh at all the dumbasses that said "haymon gonna save boxing doe" and other ****** ****. But overall its still boxing and I think the ufc brand has finally overtaken it as the most entertaining. Hopefully haymon fails soon and scatters all the boxers to other promoters.

i was hoping the pbc would actually be like the ufc. i wouldn't care if pbc created their own champ as long as he actually fought the best pbc fighters available. 126, 140, 147, 154, 168, and 175 they would have enough fighters to do that. why is he collecting fighters from all divisions when they can't even fight anyone? ufc originally had one division then branched out till like 5 when they found more success. he should have concentrated on what he had instead of getting big eyes and thinking about what he could have had.

Not ideal but Danny earned his stripes in 140 by cleaning out his div , I don't have a real issue with it, I mean with the exception of Salka he been fighting nothing but champions the past 4-5 years

I think creating a belt would of been risky if not moronic. Im sure it would of made the other organizations mad and i have no doubt they would have any intentions of unifying. Most of the blame is on mayweather and pacquiao. Instead of passing down the torch they choose some ******ed matches for their last fights and that may 2 ppv pissed alot of people off and turned them off to boxing

I think it is a joke of a world title fight. Garcia should probably be ranked about 6th or 7th in the world. Guerrero was already badly beaten up by Thurman and he is ranked about 25th in the world. The winner of this fight becomes the champion of the world? I sure won't consider Garcia a real champion for beating up washed up cherry pick Guerrero. If by some miracle Guerrero wins I won't think of him as a true champion either. World title fights should be between two of the best fighters in their weight class even if there are 4 different world titles in each weight class. Thurman vs Porter is a good title fight. Guerrero fighting for a world title sends a message that you don't have to be very good to fight for a world title. It sends the message that being a world champion sometimes doesn't mean much these days. I will have no more respect for Garcia after he probably beats big underdog Guerrero and becomes a so called world champion than I do now. Khan fighting Garcia for the WBC title would be border line acceptable to me and much better than Guerrero being Garcia's opponent.
